Rising unemployment fosters fear of redundancy in half of the working population

With unemployment up, 49% of British working people fear for their jobs with those between 45 and 54 being most concerned. At the same time, some 63% of workers believe they do not possess the skills or experience to change industry if they find themselves jobless.
