I completed my studies in Quantitative and Computational Finance at the EPFL and the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2003. I then worked for about twelve years as a software developer at financial companies like Unigestion and Moody’s Investors Service, and at various software companies on risk management software like Axioma, which merged with SimCorp, Calypso Technology now part of Nasdaq, and Barrie and Hibbert now part of Moody’s Corporation. I have around ten years of experience in C#.Net development and a few years in Java, and I'm skilled in SQL.
I have around ten years of experience in C#/.NET development and several years of experience in Java. I am also skilled in database development and management.
Over the past two years, I've worked on web projects with React and JavaScript front ends and PHP Slim back ends. I'm now becoming proficient in React and have worked on several interesting AI projects. I use AI to write better code and improve my productivity.
I recently developed a Chatbot for a company's FAQ with a React front-end and an Express.js back-end. The chatbot uses Groq as its LLM and consists of a knowledge base, data chunking, embeddings, metadata tagging, a retrieval pipeline, and a vector database to support high-quality retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
I consider myself a versatile developer. I can work for a private company or a public organisation on complex software challenges. I'm solution-oriented and creative, and I enjoy working both in a team and independently. I can bring value to your organisation through my broad software development skills.
