Most workers (62%) using the internet or email at their jobs say these technologies are a mixed blessing:
cell phones, Blackberries, digital assistants keep them permanently connected to their job.

The benefits of increased connectivity and flexibility are counterbalanced by stress and new demands to their lives.
Some 45% of employees do at least some work from home and 18% of working Americans do job-related tasks at home daily.
But they are also significantly more likely to use the internet ‘constantly’ at work than at home.

A broader group of workers kept connected to their jobs outside of normal working hours are the so called ‘Wired and Ready Workers.’
