Mobile telephone giant Vodafone is to close its Oxfordshire customer relations centre with the loss of 400 jobs. The company said it was shutting its site on the Banbury Business Park, Adderbury, next year so that new teams could be formed which are ‘centres of excellence’.
200 of the posts will be relocated to three other branches of Vodafone in Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire and Manchester.
