UK: Airline bankruptcy to cost 800 jobs?
Due to bankruptcy, all Flyglobespan flights have been cancelled, leaving 4 500 passengers abroad and jeopardising 800 jobs. Scotland’s biggest airline went into administration on 16 December, following a failed attempt to obtain refinancing. According to their administrators PWC, 550 people have already lost their jobs and it is not yet known how many more will suffer the same fate.
