UK: Australia on the lookout for bored British workers

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

60% of British workers are bored at work, while 71% of them spend their whole working day stuck in the office. These are the results of a survey of 2000 people conducted by the Government of South Australia, which is running a campaign to persuade 18 to 30 year old British people to relocate for the ‘ultimate work-life balance’.
The publicity drive stresses the contrast with ‘the UK’s long working hours, high taxes and increasing retirement age’ and entices with such diverse jobs as koala catcher, beer taster and shark tagger.
