UK: CEO pay up 55% in a year

The chief executives of the companies ranked in the FTSE 100 (Financial Times Stock Exchange index) received 55% more pay in the year to June2010, according to a Thomson Reuters research. They earned an average of £4.9m for the year, a figure equal to 88 times the earnings of the averagel UK worker.
