Jaguar Land Rover has refuted earlier reports that it has already decided to put plans to close one of its British car plants on hold for ‘at least a year’, according to Motor Industry sources. Instead, a spokesman said that an official announcement would be made this summer.

A strategic review by the new Chief Executive of Tata Motors, the owner of Jaguar Land Rover, is ongoing and has also been examining the future of the company’s three UK factories.
