Rok, a provider of building services for councils, schools, housing associations and businesses, is cutting 711 jobs due to the loss of £3.8 million for the first half of the year. The maintenance and the improvements business will be the most affected with 558 redundancies, while the construction division and the Scotland plumbing business will cut 82 and 69 positions respectively.
