In Britain, 53% of workers say they have made sacrifices in the past year to keep their job during the economic crisis. Indeed, 28% of employees agreed to longer hours and unpaid overtime, 15% accepted a pay freeze, 14% took a pay cut and 4% opted for voluntary redundancy.
