I am a biologist because I like to understand the mechanisms upon which life is based. As a biologist, I look at living organisms in order to study their composition and the processes going on at the cellular and molecular level. Performing experimental work in the lab is my passion. In my research, I aim to understand the impact of the environment on living organisms, and how they cope with and adapt to the conditions to which they are exposed.
The most exciting aspect of this research, for me, is to design and perform the appropriate experiments we need in order to solve a research question. Precision, accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work in a concentrated and straightforward manner are the qualities that have helped me to achieve valuable results during my nine years of experimental research.
