I have accumulated 10 years of experience in finance and administration within the tire retreading industry. During this time, I was responsible for preparing daily, monthly, and yearly sales and expenses reports for VAT and annual tax purposes. Additionally, I spent 8 years working in marketing and sales at a computer store in Ethiopia.
What I bring to an organization
My skill set encompasses both financial and marketing expertise, making me an asset to any accounting team. Specifically, I am proficient in accounting software such as Peachtree, and I possess advanced MS-Office skills. With this combination, I can efficiently handle tasks such as data entry, invoice management, and financial reporting.
What motivates me at work
I find motivation when my work aligns with a greater purpose or contributes to something meaningful. Knowing that my efforts make a difference and receiving recognition from my co-workers or clients are powerful motivators for me.
My proudest achievement in my professional life
In 2019, while working at Finfine Retreading PLC, we faced a critical period. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I stepped in to cover the responsibilities of the production manager. Despite my limited experience in production, I successfully led my team to complete a challenging 50-tire contract. We worked tirelessly, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high-quality standards.
Additionally, during VAT and annual tax declarations, we encountered internet connectivity issues. Nevertheless, I consistently finished my tasks on time, setting an example of punctuality and effective task organization for my colleagues.
