PanpanCucul, ce sont surtout des illustrations décalées, raportant l’actualité de manière caricaturée, car parfois "ce qu’on lit et ce qu’on vit, ça mérite une bonne fessée." L’exposition "Dessins de prison"est un journal du confinement. 54 dessins pour 54 soirs, retraçant la facheuse période du 20 mars au 11 mai, 2020. PanpanCucul, (expression in french, synonym for spanking, when talking to children), was created by Julien de Preux, Independent Artistic Director having studied at the School of Applied Arts in Geneva. PanpanCucul are quirky illustrations - the news with a caricatural brush - because sometimes "what you read and what you see, deserve a good spanking." The exhibition, "Prison Drawings", is a confinement diary. 54 drawings for 54 nights, a peek into an infamous period, from March 20, to May 11 2020. Exhibition from June 17 to July 4, 2020. Depuis ses succès au concours d’Evian en 1985 et au concours Borciani à Reggio Emilia en 1987, le Quatuor Sine Nomine, établi à Lausanne, mène une carrière internationale qui le conduit dans les principales villes d’Europe et d’Amérique, notamment à Londres (Wigmore Hall), à Amsterdam (Concertgebouw) , à New York (Carnegie Hall), ou encore au Mozarteum de Salzburg . Since its success at the Evian Competition in 1985 and at the Borciani Competition in Reggio Emilia in 1987, the Lausanne-based Quatuor Sine Nomine launched an international career performing in London (Wigmore Hall), Amsterdam (Concertgebouw), New York (Carnegie Hall), and the Mozarteum in Salzburg. | En avril dernier, le Montreux Jazz Festival annonçait l’annulation de sa 54e édition avec le titre « Silent Shores in 2020 » (Un rivage silencieux en 2020).
17 créateurs d’affiches du Festival ont accepté le défi d’apporter leur réponse autour de ce thème. Aujourd'hui, c'est à vous de jouer! Vous avez jusqu’au 21 juin 2020 à 23h59 pour soumettre votre proposition d'affiche sur le même thème. Toutes les œuvres seront présentées sur le site du Festival. Les 10 meilleures, sélectionnées par un jury interne, feront l’objet d’un vote sur nos réseaux sociaux. Le.la gagnant.e recevra un ALL MUSIC PASS pour l’édition 2021! Last April, the Montreux Jazz Festival cancelled its 54th edition, and renamed it a “Silent Shore in 2020“.
17 designers took on the challenge of creating a new poster, around the theme “Silent Shores”. Now, it’s your turn! You have until 11:59pm on 21 June, 2020, to send in your poster design, on this same theme. All works will be showcased on the Festival's website. The top 10 designs, selected by an internal jury, will be submitted to a vote on our social media. The winner will receive an ALL MUSIC PASS for the 2021 edition!
